China’s Global Times tweeted that the man from Yunnan Province died while on his way back to Shandong Province for work on a bus on Monday. The 32 other people on the bus were also tested for the virus. What exactly is the hantavirus? Two female students of Delhi University, belonging from the Northeast, were allegedly harassed and called ‘Coronavirus’ by a group of six men at Kamla Nagar, near DU’s North Campus. The victims alleged that when they tried to take the matter to the local police, they were not sensitive enough and tried to normalise the issue and didn’t do anything to help the girls The incident, which happened on March 3, was reported by  News Laundry . The victims said that the men, who were on motorbikes, tossed water balloons at them with a clear intention of sexually harassing them. Daphisha is as beautiful as a dancer as is her native city of Shillong. She belonged to Mawlai, Mawiong in Shillong and got famous through the dance reality show Dance India Dance. She participated in the sixth season of the show. Paran Devo, Alphans Chetty,  Sachin Sharma ,  Sanket Gaonkar ,  Nainika Anasuru , and  Piyush Gurbhele  were some of the other contestants. The show got mentored by  Mudassar Khan , Marzi Pestorji, and Mini Pradhan. CHALO LOKU AN INDIGENOUS FESTIVAL OF NOCTE TRIBE

Chalo Loku (Nocte) The term for the festival used by the Noctes in their dialect “Loku” is derived from “Lofe” (to drive out) and “Rang-Ku” (season). Thus “Loku” literally means to drive out the old season of the year. It is celebrated in some villages during the month of July/August and in some villages after reaping of Ahu paddy during the month of October/November. After calculating the digits of the waxing moon, the date for starting the festival is fixed by the village elders. Every Nocte village is echoed by the declaration of the date for celebration of Loku. Young boys and girls go to forest to collect “Kow” leaves for making dishes and cups. They are also required to collect firewood for bonfire to be lighted during Loku festival. They also collect subscription of rice and beer from each household.
